A Premier League legend believes with Victor Osimhen’s qualities and standard, moving to the Saudi Pro League after his loan-spell at Galatasaray is not the best idea.
Osimhen was on the verge of securing a deal to Saudi Side Al Ahli on the summer transfer deadline day in a mouthwatering deal, which eventually collapsed, with a deal with Chelsea in the closing hours of the deadline day also falling through due to disagreement over his wages.
The Nigerian eventually secured a loan deal with Galatasaray and has proven his worth, scoring six goals and providing four assists in his eight appearances for the club.

However, Osimhen’s next move remains a topic of debate, with his loan deal expected to expire at the end of the season.
Petr Crouch on Osimhen’s potential Saudi move
Petr Crouch appears to be a fan of the Nigerian striker and has expressed his desire for Osimhen to remain in Europe, ideally joining a Premier League club, despite reports linking the 25-year-old to a move to Saudi Arabia. While major players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar have moved from Europe to ply their trade in the Middle East, Crouch has advised against it for Osimhen.
“I love watching him play. He’s so strong, powerful, and fantastic in the air. He’s got good touch; he can play,” Crouch told TNT sports.
“This is obviously a stop gap, I think Galatasaray is just a means for him to wind his contract down a bit, maybe reduce his transfer fee if you’d like, but his next move is crucial.
“If he’ll come to the Premier League, I don’t know, but I think he can go to most clubs in world football. I just hope he doesn’t end up in Saudi which has obviously been mentioned, because we’d love to see him playing in Europe playing football.”

While a permanent deal with Galatasaray seems unlikely, given Osimhen’s substantial release clause, his future remains open to possibilities in Europe or beyond.
