Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf has expressed his disagreement with the comments made by Mikel Arteta in postmatch interview after the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Arsenal boss remained adamant that his side was better, as second half goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Pedro Neto ensured it finished all square in the London derby.

Frank Leboeuf insists Arsenal was not better
“I was a little bit upset with his press conference after the game, ‘yeah, we were dominant, we were better than them, we deserve to win.’ Since when? I saw the game, and I would have said it fairly if it was the case, but it wasn’t,” Leboeuf said to ESPN in response to Mikel Arteta comments.
“I felt that Chelsea was much better in the first half than Arsenal, but Arsenal finished better, because I think physically, they were better than Chelsea. But overall, who can say that Arsenal was better than Chelsea? Never.
They had chances, but they were outside so it doesn’t count. So, yeah, I don’t like this attitude. Respect others, otherwise you wouldn’t be respected.” He concluded.
Frank Leboeuf, who was a former French international spent five seasons at Chelsea between 1996 and 2001, making over 200 appearance.
