Hansi Flick Remarks After Defeat
Reflecting on the match, the 59-year-old Flick acknowledged Barcelona’s challenges early on, noting his side’s struggles against Real Sociedad’s intensity and discipline.
Flick pointed out that despite improving their play after the break, they faltered in the final third.
“In the first half we suffered,” Flick remarked during his post-match interview.
“The second half was better, but in the end, we made the wrong decisions in the final third. We didn’t have the strength to score goals today.”
While disappointed, Flick encouraged his team to use the setback constructively.
“I told the team we have to accept it, absolutely clear,” he continued. “But in the end, we’ll come back stronger.”
Flick’s comments underscore his focus on resilience and growth, as he aims to sharpen Barcelona’s approach and decision-making in their upcoming fixtures.
