Bright Osayi-Samuel expressed his happiness after making his 100th appearance for Fernabahce in the league in their 4-0 thrashing of Sivasspor on Sunday.
Having joined Fernabahce from English side Queens Park Rangers in 2021, the Nigerian has been impressive for the Turkish giants.
The Super Eagles star has been a key member of the squad and was part of the team under Sukru Sacracoglu that fell short to eventual Super Lig Galatasaray last season.
With Jose Mourinho now in charge, Osayi Samuel has made quite a decent number of appearances, taking to the field once again on Sunday to mark his 100th league appearance in the Blue Navy’s jersey—a game his team won comfortably, courtesy of goals from Samet Akaydin, Dusan Tadic, Sofyan Amrabat, and Allan Saint-Maximin.

Osayi-Samuel expresses excitement
After the game, the fullback took to social media to express his landmark appearance.
“I am honored and proud to play my 100th match in your presence on this important day, I am always ready to give my everything to be worth of you. The biggest Fenerbahçe,” Osayi-Samuel wrote.
The Fenerbahçe defender, who has been included in the Super Eagles squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier games this November, will look to carry his excitement to the national team as Nigeria aim to secure a ticket to the AFCON tournament in Morocco.
