Benin Republic head coach Gernot Rohr has disclosed the one advantage the Super Eagles of Nigeria have over his team as both nations are set to face each other for the African Cup of nations Qualifier’s clash this November.
With ten points from four games, Nigeria leads Group D, while Benin is next with six points, and the Wasps of Rwanda have five points.

Rohr on Nigeria’s advantage
Following a Confederation of African Football ruling that their stadiums are inadequate, Benin now play their home games in a neutral location—the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, and Rohr has pointed this out as an advantage for other group D nations, who have the luxury of playing their home games in their country.
“In our group, the three countries that are with us have all had the chance to be able to play at home,’ Rohr said according to Mega Sports.
“It’s not like us who have to go to neutral ground. Up until now, it has given us the chance to play in Abidjan and we will want to continue.
“But I think it will be decided in the last match in Libya in Tripoli. We will be ready for that and we will do everything obviously, especially with our state of mind, with players who have found a bit of rhythm in the club, to be at the next Afcon in Morocco,” the former Super Eagles head coach added.
Nigeria will face the Benin Republic on November 14 at 20:00.
