Arsenal expects Riccardo Calafiori to return to action later this month, and targets the meeting with West Ham United as the fixture to mark his return from injury.
The Italy International has been kept out due to a knee injury sustained in the UEFA Champions League meeting with Shakhtar Donesk in round three in the Emirates stadium.
Calafiori, who joined Arsenal in a permanent deal from Bologna in the summer has impressed the Arsenal faithfuls, but has suffered multiple injuries, adding to the tension at the club due to the poor injury records this season.
