Super Lig rivalry continues to heat up even weeks after its toughest fixture as Jose Mourinho has received harsh words from Galatasaray goalkeeper Facundo Muslera for his ‘nobody abroad wants to come to Turkiye…’ comments made earlier in the month.
The Fenerbache boss made the comments following the controversy in his side’s win over Trabzonspor ealier in the month, where they needed a 90+12th minute winner from Sofyan Amrabat to seal a comeback win in harsh conditions.

What Jose Mourinho said on Super Lig
After the game, an enraged Jose Mourinho said in the postmatch interview: “Nobody abroad wants to watch the Turkish League.”
“It’s too grey. It’s too dark, smells bad. But that’s my job, and I will give everything to my job, to my club.”
“Who wants to watch this league aboard? They have the Premier League, French league, German league, Portuguese league and Dutch league. Why should they see this?”
What Victor Osimhen teammate Facundo Muslera said
Speaking after Galatasaray’s 3-2 win over Samsunspor on Sunday evening, Muslera took the opportunity to respond to Mourinho’s comments on the Super Lig by saying:
“When I see a coach who arrived four months ago talk so much and criticize so much.”
“It’s time for someone to also tell him something: If he doesn’t like it, let him go!”
“The insults he is making to Turkish football and the fact of the attack on some referees are things that bother me.”
Galatasaray, who won 3-1 when the two sides met in round six, leads the way on the Super Lig standing with 31 points, four ahead of second place Fenerbache.
