Harry Kane has expressed his disappointment with the number of withdrawals from the England squad for the UEFA Nations League games this month.
Ahead of Thomas Tuchel’s first assignment as the England’s Three Lions boss, a host of top names have ruled themselves out of the games due to injuries, forcing the German to invite new faces to camp.
Speaking to ITV ahead of the meeting with Greece on Thursday night, the Bayern Munich striker was unimpressed with the decision of his countrymen to boycott the games, stating England should come first.

Harry Kane blasts Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer and others
England will be missing eight first team players, who had been invited to camp by Thomas Tuchel before opting out.
Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Cole Palmer, Levi Colwill, Phil Foden, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jack Grealish and Aaron Ramsdale are amongst the names.
“Gareth Southgate brought the joy to play for England back. Every camp people were excited to come, every camp people wanted to play for England and that’s the most important thing,” said the England skipper.
“I think England comes before anything. England comes before club, it is the most important thing as a professional footballer.”
“Gareth was hot on that and he wasn’t afraid to make decisions if that started to drift from certain players.”
“It’s a shame this week, obviously. It’s a tough period of the season and maybe that’s been taken advantage of a little bit.”
“I don’t really like it if I’m totally honest. England comes before anything and any club situation.” He added.
Kane is England’s all-time leading goalscorer but still in search of his first-ever silverware since turning professional. He missed the chance in the summer, when England lost in the Euros final to Spain.
