Atalanta has reportedly valued Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman at €50 million, following his impressive start to the season.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the 27-year-old has recorded eight goals and five assists in just 14 appearances across all competitions, solidifying his reputation as one of Serie A’s standout attackers.

Stellar Performances and Growing Demand

Lookman has continued his upward trajectory since joining Atalanta from RB Leipzig in 2022 for €9.3 million.

Last season, he played a key role in Atalanta’s Europa League triumph, notably scoring a hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen. His stellar form also saw him finish 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or rankings, further raising his stock.

PSG reportedly showed interest in Lookman during the summer transfer window, but Atalanta successfully retained their star man.

His current contract runs until June 2026, with an option to extend it for another year, potentially increasing his annual salary to €2 million.

Financially stable, Atalanta is unwilling to part with Lookman during the January transfer window, even as interest from top European clubs grows. However, the club may entertain offers in the summer, provided the €50 million valuation is met.
