Victor Boniface has made the headline once again, this time for his philanthropic gesture after making a cash transfer to fans, who had gathered around the Super Eagles team bus.
According to a video shared by Oganlamedia on X, Boniface was in the team bus, seemingly heading to the team camp ahead of Nigeria’s clash against Rwanda in Uyo.

Boniface captured making transfer to fans
The Bayer Leverkusen attacker was seen pressing his phone and peeping through the window, apparently checking some details from one of the fans’ phones—likely an account number—while the crowd clogged the bus.
He then showed the awaiting supporters his phone screen, seemingly as confirmation of the transaction, indicating it was meant for everyone, while the crowd cheered him.
This is beautiful and kindness.

Boniface is widely loved by fans for his jovial persona—both online and on the field—as well as his acts of generosity.
He recently teased fellow Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, jokingly labelling the Galatasaray striker as “stingy.”
The Leverkusen forward, however, had previously been in the headlines for his philanthropic gestures, including gifting an elderly carpenter a substantial amount of money.
As the Super Eagles prepare for their final African Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda, Boniface will hope to make the starting lineup this time, having started on the bench in their last match against Benin Republic.
