Victor Osimhen might be getting a new partner upfront soon, as Galatasaray are looking to sign fellow Nigerian striker Gift Orban, who plays for Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais, as a potential replacement for the injured Mauro Icardi.
Orban joined Lyon in the summer of 2024 but has struggled since his move, playing for the French giants just three times this season and not making the matchday squad in their last three outings.
The French-based outfit are currently facing relegation due to their financial issues and they have added the 22-year-old striker to their transfer list to solve this problem.

Gift Orban to join Osimhen in Galatasaray
A Spor, claims that the Yellow-reds are set to make a rescue move for the embatled striker as the club aims to strengthen their attack after Mauro Icardi’s season-ending injury.
The Argentine forward has been Osimhen’s partner upfront this season but has now been ruled out of the season after tearing his ACL in Galatsaray’s Europa League clash against Tottenham, and this has left a gap in the Okan Buruk’s frontline.
Orban is thought to be the perfect partner for Osimhen in attack because of his finishing qualities and ability to link up well with teammates.
The 22-year-old attacker, who has already drawn notice in Europe, is now anticipated to play in Okan Buruk’s two-forward system alongside his compatriot Osimhen.
