Cristiano Ronaldo recently made a bold statement, saying that he will live up to 100 years, in response to a lighthearted joke suggesting that he is about to die.
Recall the 39-year-old Al Nassr star launched his YouTube channel some months back, setting the record for the fastest million subscribers.
He recently hosted YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, where several topics were talked about, including Ronaldo’s fast-rising followings on the channel.
Ronaldo currently has over 60 million YouTube subscribers, and MrBeast, a veteran in the platform with over a decade of experience, has 324 million followings. However, the American stated he was stunned at how the football celebrity’s subscribers have grown rapidly.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s response to ‘about to die’ claim
While discussing, Ronaldo’s age came up, with the former Real Madrid star saying,
”I’m 39 and a few months.”
Teasing the Portuguese legend, MrBeast replied, “Almost 40! You’re about to die; what’s it like?”
After laughing off the American’s comment, the five-time Ballon d’Or responded, saying,
“I’m going to live until I’m 100, just to let you know.
“In football, this is a long career because most of the time they retire at 33, 34 or 36.”
While talks of his imminent retirement circulate, as he reaches 40 in a few months, Ronaldo has shown no signs of slowing down.
The veteran attacker recently scored an incredible accrobatic goal for Portugal against Poland in the UEFA Nations League, and with his recent comment, he might be around more than people expect.
