Viveiros’ relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo
Viveiros is the brother of Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, who has been a key support throughout the Portuguese star’s football career, even in difficult moments.
The former Real Madrid star shares a close bond with his mother, one which was evident during Portugal’s round of 16 clash against Slovenia, where he lost a cricial penalty in extra time.
An emotional Ronaldo burst into tears upon the miss, and it was later revealed that the breakdown was influenced upon seeing his mother Doleres tearing up in the stands.
However, he appears to have gotten over the difficult moment and is currently in top form.
The legendary attacker, few months away from his 40th birthday, recently stunned the world by scoring a spectacular acrobatic goal during Portugal’s 5-1 victory over Poland in the UEFA Nations League.
Despite talks of him reaching the end of his career, Ronaldo has shown no signs of decline in form and seems determined to remain in the game longer than many might expect.
