Galatasaray striker Michy Batshuayi has highlighted an area where he believes he has an edge over fellow club forward Victor Osimhen.
The Belgian striker scored the only goal in the Aslans’ 1-0 victory over Bodrum at Grey Beton Bodrum Stadyumu on Saturday, helping them retain their position at the summit and maintain a five-point gap over second-placed Fenerbahçe. That goal marked Batshuayi’s sixth of the season across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Osimhen, who has been in fine form since his loan move to the club, failed to find the back of the net despite playing the full 90 minutes.
Batshuayi, who started upfront with the Nigerian striker in Okan Buruk’s preferred two-striker system against Bodrum, replaced the injured Mauro Icardi in the lineup.

Batshuayi on being technically better than Osimhen
In his post-match interview, Batshuayi spoke about his versatility in attack.
“Of course, I can play as a double forward or as a single forward,” he said, as quoted by Galatasaray’s official website.
He also praised Osimhen’s strengths, particularly in aerial duels and long balls.
“But when we look at it, Victor is good at long and aerial balls. I can also make deep runs.”
However, the former Chelsea attacker claimed his technical abilities are superior to Osimhen’s, saying,
“I am technically better from my perspective. Of course, when you look at this, the coach’s choice is important. We actually offer the coach the necessary options.”
With Icardi ruled out for the season, both strikers will likely continue to feature in Buruk’s two-striker system.
