Former Dutch forward Ryan Babel has advised Paul Pogba to turn down offers from top Premier League clubs and instead consider a move to unite with Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel’s potential new club.
Babel believes that a lower-pressure environment would benefit Pogba, who is looking to reignite his career after his ban for doping offences.
Pogba, 31, is set to resume training in January 2025 after his doping ban was reduced to 18 months.
He is eligible to return to competitive action in March. However, following the termination of his contract with Juventus at the end of November, Pogba is looking for a new club.
While his talent remains undoubted, Babel suggests that joining a high-profile club could be too much pressure for the Frenchman after his recent struggles.

Fulham as a Viable Option
Speaking to Instant Casino, Babel sees Fulham as a perfect destination for Pogba to rebuild his career.
He stated, “I think Paul Pogba could be a good addition for a Premier League club. I think he could deliver for teams like Fulham, the teams where the pressure is not as high as Man United.”
He continued, “Not for the fact that he could not handle that pressure, but simply because I think there will be too much pressure on him.
He’d be in the spotlight if he joined one of the top four teams. I think you know with all the trauma and things that he’s experienced; I think for him it would be good to join a team that doesn’t necessarily have the pressure to win the title.”
In a previous report from Sports Buddy, Osayi-Samuel has agreed to a four-year deal with Fulham, marking a potential return to London, where he previously played for Queens Park Rangers.
The Road to Recovery
Babel added, “Then he could very quickly be one of the main stars and establish himself as a top-level player again.
He would stand out in a team like that. He hasn’t played football in a long time. It’s not easy to come back in at that level, it won’t be easy for him, but of course he has the talent to do it.”
