Former Barcelona Femeni star Asisat Oshoala has heaped praise on Amad Diallo following his standout performance in Manchester United’s 4-0 triumph over Everton at Old Trafford.
Under the guidance of new manager Ruben Amorim, Diallo delivered two assists, earning the Man of the Match accolade.
A Star Performance by Diallo
While the Ivorian forward didn’t score, his creativity and influence were evident throughout the game. Diallo’s efforts were celebrated on Manchester United’s social media, which captioned his performance: “He is seriously cooking.”
A post on Instagram featuring the winger with the word “unplayable” further highlighted his impact.
Reacting to the post, Oshoala, now playing for Bay FC, commented enthusiastically: “Amad 🔥😍,” showing her admiration for the youngster’s display.
Amorim Credits Diallo’s Growth
After the match, manager Ruben Amorim credited Diallo’s evolution to the work done by former United U21 coach Ruud van Nistelrooy.
“Amad Diallo was really good again. Ruud van Nistelrooy helped him a lot during his time in charge, and now he’s helping me.
He’s in a great moment, but that moment started with Ruud. So, I just take advantage of the work Ruud did with Amad,” Amorim said.
