The Premier League has confirmed on its official website that Nigeria internationals Calvin Bassey and Wilfred Ndidi are on the brink of suspension.
Both players are among 27 Premier League stars who are one booking away from a one-match ban, having accumulated four yellow cards each.

Players who accumulate five yellow cards in their first 19 matches will be suspended for one game. This suspension does not carry over to the Carabao Cup or FA Cup. Players will start afresh in the second half of the season (gameweek 20-38).

With gameweek 13 recently concluded, Bassey and Ndidi must avoid further bookings in their next six matches. Bassey has been cautioned against Manchester United, Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Ndidi has picked up yellow cards against Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Bournemouth, and Chelsea.
Ndidi was fortunate to avoid a red card in Leicester City’s recent home match against Chelsea for a reckless challenge on Cole Palmer.
Leicester, under newly appointed manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy in his first game in charge, will welcome West Ham for gameweek 14 of the EPL, while Fulham will also host Brighton this midweek.
Both players are regular starters for their respective clubs and will most likely start these games.
It’s worth noting that a player who accumulates 10 yellow cards in their first 32 league games will be suspended for two matches.
