José Mourinho has congratulated David Okereke on achieving an incredible milestone following the Nigerian forward’s goal against his team.
Okereke netted Gaziantep’s only goal in their 3-1 defeat to Fenerbahçe on Monday evening at the Ulker Stadium.
The hosts, favourites heading into the match, quickly lived up to expectations as Oguz Aydin opened the scoring just three minutes in.
However, Okereke equalised for the visitors with a composed finish from a rebound, four minutes before the half-time break.
Just as when it seemed Gaziantep might secure a point, their resilience crumbled late on. Rodrigo Becão restored Fenerbahçe’s lead in the 78th minute, and Edin Džeko sealed the victory one minute from time.

Mourinho congratulates Okere for achieiving incredible feat
While Okereke’s equaliser proved inconsequential in the end, Mourinho praised the Nigerian striker, who has a habit of scoring against his teams, having previously netted against Roma before scoring against his current side, Fenerbahçe.
“I congratulate David Okereke. He is the first player to score against all three teams that I managed. He scored against my teams while playing for Venezia, Cremonese, and Gaziantep,” Mourinho said, according to Trtspor.
Okereke now has three goals in the Süper Lig this season following his strike against Fenerbahçe.
