Former Egyptian footballer Haytham Farouk has boldly claimed that forward Mohamed Salah has signed a new deal with Liverpool.
The 32-year-old attacker’s future remains uncertain, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season. He recently hinted at a possible exit from the club following his team’s 2-0 victory over defending champions Manchester City.

Farouk congratulates Salah on renewing contract

While there’s been a lot of chatter about Salah’s future at Anfield, nothing official has been announced yet. But Farouk took to Twitter to share the exciting news, saying,
“Congratulations on renewing your contract with the number you like and the period you want. The Egyptian king rules with his own judgements.”

Salah has been a major player for Liverpool this season, helping the team achieve great things under new manager Arne Slot. his season, he has scored 15 goals and provided 12 assists accross all competitions.
He has scored a massive 226 goals and provided 101 assists in 370 appearances for the Reds.
As the highest-scoring African player in Premier League history with 170 goals, Salah is eighth on the league’s all-time scorers list. He’s also the highest-scoring active player in the Premier League.
