Galatasaray dealt Victor Osimhen injury blow
This is a big blow to coach Okan Buruk‘s team, which is already without its top striker, Mauro Icardi. The absence of both players could impact Galatasaray‘s season objectives.
Now, Buruk will look to Michy Batshuayi to step up and help the team in their pursuit of a third consecutive Turkish league title and a strong run in the UEFA Europa League.
Thanks to this victory against Sivasspor, Galatasaray are sitting six points clear off nearest rivals Fenerbahçe in the Süper Lig table, as well as in an advantageous position for automatic Europa League round of 16 qualification.
