Napoli’s sporting director, Giovanni Manna, has dismissed the growing speculation surrounding Victor Osimhen’s potential move in January.
The Nigerian striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been linked with top European clubs such as Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Juventus, but Manna insists there is no concrete development.
Manna: “We’re Talking About It Too Much”

Speaking to DAZN ahead of Napoli’s Serie A clash with Lazio, Manna clarified the club’s position on the rumors.
“No one has contacted us. Victor is a Napoli player who is currently playing at Galatasaray. We are discussing this too much, but at this moment, there is absolutely nothing happening,” he stated.
Manna emphasized Napoli’s focus on their internal objectives rather than external speculation.
“We are always working on ourselves; we don’t look at the standings or what others are doing.
Every match has its value, and we are on a journey to build something significant based on solidity, work, and team spirit.”

Prepared for January but No Active Plans
While Manna acknowledged that Napoli remains open to making moves in the January transfer window, he stressed that the club’s immediate focus is on their league commitments.
“If there is an opportunity to improve the squad, we will take it. However, right now, we are not actively thinking about that,” he explained.
He also commended Lazio’s progress under coach Marco Baroni, emphasizing the competitive nature of Serie A and the importance of Napoli staying focused on the pitch.
Speculation Continues Amid Stellar Form
Osimhen has been in exceptional form at Galatasaray, contributing 10 goals and 5 assists in just 13 appearances.
While Manna’s comments aim to quell transfer rumors, interest from Europe’s elite clubs is unlikely to fade, especially as the January transfer window approaches.
