Pep Guardiola has revealed what he wants to see his team turn things around after a disastrous run of games.
The Spanish manager is enduring the most difficult spell of his managerial career, having seen his team secure just one win in their last 10 games across all competitions, including seven consecutive matches without a victory.
Manchester City are now out of the Carabao Cup after losing to Tottenham during that run and currently sit 22nd in the revamped Champions League table, just one point above the drop zone following a 2-0 defeat to Juventus on Wednesday.
The Cityzens have not fared better in the league either.
After ending their four-game losing streak in the league with a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, Guardiola’s side failed to secure back-to-back league wins, drawing 2-2 against Crystal Palace last weekend.

What Guardiola said

Speaking about his team’s poor form and a potential signing in January, Guardiola insisted he has the best players but acknowledged that injuries have cost them crucial results.
The Spanish coach emphasised that with a fully fit squad, City would be in a much better position.
“What I want is my players back! I would love desperately to compete with the squad that we had at the beginning of the season, he said, according to Fabrizio on X
“I always said I want THESE players, not new ones. But at the right moment, we will see.”
Meanwhile, City are third in the league table, nine points behind leaders Liverpool, who have played one game fewer.
Guardiola will, however, need to make do with what he has for now as he aims to steer his team back to winning ways.
