Victor Osimhen was notably absent from Galatasaray’s squad for their Turkish Cup match against Basaksehir FK on Wednesday at Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi RAMS Park.
While there was initial speculation that the Nigerian striker had been rested, it was later confirmed that he was unavailable due to a fever.
Osimhen is currently recovering from the illness and is expected to return to training on Thursday, ahead of Galatasaray’s upcoming Turkish Super Lig match against Basaksehir FK.
