Odemwingie’s love for golf began in 2010 when he joined West Bromwich Albion, but it wasn’t until his stint at Stoke City that his passion truly blossomed.

Reflecting on his time at Stoke, where he played alongside fellow footballers Peter Crouch, Glen Johnson, and Charlie Adam, Odemwingie shared how the sport brought the team closer.

“The magic of golf brought us together. The camaraderie grew a lot in the dressing room,” he said according to BBC, noting how then-manager Mark Hughes encouraged players to unwind with rounds of golf during overseas trips.
