Manchester United have completed the signing of Brentford’s forward Bryan Mbeumo in a staggering £71 million deal.
The 25-year-old Cameroonian , who scored 20 goals last season, will now join the Red Devils after weeks of tough talks between the two clubs.
Brentford finally agreed to a £65 million fee, with an extra £5 million in performance-based add-ons.
Mbeumo, known for his pace, strength and sharp finishing, becomes one of the biggest signings of the summer.
His move to Old Trafford comes after United sealed the deal for Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, as manager Ruben Amorim pushes for a stronger attack in the 2025-26 season.
United struggled in front of goal last season, scoring just 44 times in the league. With that poor record, the club wasted no time bringing in reinforcements. Mbeumo’s ability to play across the front three and his left-footed flair made him a top target, even ahead of interest from Tottenham and Newcastle.
