The Super Falcons of Nigeria delivered a commanding 5-0 victory against Zambia’s Copper Queens in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

This victory has propelled Nigeria into the semifinals and also changed the race for the Golden Boot and assist rankings.

Following Nigeria’s dominant display, Chinwendu Ihezuo has emerged as a strong contender for the Golden Boot.
