Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq may be on his way out of Real Sociedad as Valencia step forward with a clear loan offer.
The 27-year-old striker, who has struggled with injuries and form since joining Sociedad, is now being eyed by top clubs in Spain’s top league.
Valencia have made the first official move. According to reports from Spain, they have sent a loan proposal to Real Sociedad for Sadiq. The deal includes full payment of the player’s wages and could have a buy option added.
Other clubs like Getafe and Girona have shown interest but have not made any offers. Elche and Turkish club Samsunspor were also linked earlier, but only Valencia have made their move official.
Talks Ongoing, But No Deal Yet
Sources say Real Sociedad are considering Valencia’s offer carefully. They hope to recover part of the fee they paid for Sadiq.
Negotiations are still ongoing, with both clubs working out the fine details such as bonuses and performance targets.
Even though no final agreement has been made, there is confidence that a deal will happen soon.
Valencia are said to be very keen on bringing the striker back after he scored five goals in 16 games during a short loan last season.

While talks continue, Sadiq is still in Spain training alone.
He did not join Real Sociedad’s squad for their pre-season tour in Japan or their current training camp in England.
