Simon Ulrich Samba – Congo’s Wall at the Back
Simon Ulrich Samba has been one of the standout goalkeepers of the tournament.
He has only conceded two goals in Congo’s first two games and made key saves against both Senegal and Sudan.
His presence gives Congo confidence at the back. For Nigeria, who are yet to score in the tournament, breaking past him will be a tough task.
Forwards Sikiru Alimi and Anthony Ijoma will need to test him early and often if they hope to find the net.
