Mike Tyson’s postponed fight with Jake Paul has been rescheduled to November 15 after Tyson experienced a health scare last month. The former world heavyweight champion suffered an ulcer flare-up while boarding a plane to Los Angeles, necessitating medical assistance and delaying the flight. The initial fight, set for July 20, will now take place at Texas’s AT&T Stadium.

In a press release, Tyson stated, “Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly. I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP [Paul’s promotional company], Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working diligently to find the best-rescheduled date for all parties. While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out.

Mike Tyson Confident Ahead Of November Bout

Despite being 57 years old and not having boxed professionally since 2005, Mike Tyson remains confident. He last fought in an exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020. The upcoming fight with Paul, a 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer, will be professionally sanctioned, contested over eight two-minute rounds, and recorded on both fighters’ professional records.

Paul, who holds a 9-1 professional record, responded to the news on social media with, “New date, same place, same fate.” His only loss came against Tommy Fury last year, with his notable wins mainly against fighters from MMA backgrounds.
