Liverpool right-back sets up his 58th goal in the competition in Reds’ 3-1 win against Burnley

Trent Alexander-Arnold made history in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Burnley on Saturday.

The Reds’ right-back delivered the corner that gave the hosts their opening goal at Anfield, as Diogo Jota headed past goalkeeper James Trafford.

It was Alexander-Arnold’s 58th Premier League assist, a record for defenders in the competition as he moved one ahead of his Liverpool team-mate Andrew Robertson before being substituted at half-time.
