Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes, is set to serve a three-game ban following his red card against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Portuguese midfielder was shown a straight red for a high tackle on James Maddison just before halftime, with three minutes left in the first half.
The Games Bruno Fernandes Will Miss

As a result of the suspension, Fernandes will miss United’s crucial Premier League clash with Aston Villa next Sunday. After the international break, he will also be unavailable for the games against Brentford and West Ham, leaving a big gap in United’s midfield during those key fixtures.
However, Fernandes will still be eligible to play in the Europa League match against FC Porto on Thursday, giving him an opportunity to feature in Europe despite his domestic ban.
This was the first time Fernandes has received a red card in his Manchester United career, marking a significant moment for the club.
He also becomes only the fourth United captain to be sent off in a Premier League game at Old Trafford.
Bruno Fernandes joins a list that includes club legends like Roy Keane, who saw red in 2001 against Manchester City, Nemanja Vidic in 2014 against Liverpool, and Wayne Rooney in 2014 against West Ham.
