Super Eagles star Moses Simon has been named in Whoscored.com‘s Ligue 1 Team of the Month for September 2024.
The winger became the club’s record assist maker in the French top division on September 22 when he picked up an assist in the Yellow Canaries’ 1-1 draw with Angers SCO.

As a result, he has 29 assists overall and has now surpassed late Emiliano Sala’s record as the player with the most since the team’s 2013 promotion to Ligue 1.
Simon has been able to maintain his impressive start to the 2024-2025 Ligue 1 campaign, having produced two assists in three games this month.
In August, the 29-year-old was in blistering form, scoring twice to help Nantes to back-to-back victories after opening the campaign with a draw against Toulouse.
The only game he did not contribute to a goal was last weekend’s Stade de la Beaujoire—Louis Fonteneau matchup against Saint-Étienne.
Simon makes Ligue 1 Team of the Month
With a rating of 7.73, he is the fourth highest-ranked player on the Team of the Month, with AS Monaco having the most representatives with four, followed by OGC Nice with four, and Paris Saint-Germain, Stade de Reims, Olympique Marseille, Nantes, and RC Strasbourg having one each.
