Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman continues to shine for Atalanta as the Serie A side claimed their ninth consecutive victory, defeating AC Milan 2-1.

The win sees La Dea temporarily top the table, awaiting Napoli’s result against Lazio.

Lookman scored the decisive goal, meeting a set-piece delivery late in the match to seal three points after Alvaro Morata’s equalizer canceled out Charles De Ketelaere’s opener.

Speaking to Sky Sport via Football-Italia, Lookman expressed confidence in Atalanta’s form:

“It’s a very important game against a very strong team that is doing well in the League. We performed well tonight, three big points, and we continue like this. We believe in ourselves as a team, so we stay together and take it game by game.”
