Tottenham Hotspur are set to switch focus to their next major target, Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman after completing the signing of Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig.
Simons transfer was confirmed by football transfer expert David Orstein after the Premier League club agreed a transfer fee of €60m with Leipzig.
The Premier League side is eager to strengthen its squad before the summer transfer window closes next week.
Why Tottenham Want Lookman?

Lookman has been unsettled at Atalanta during the off-season. SportsBuddy had earlier reported that the 27-year-old attacker penned an open letter as he seeks a fresh challenge.
Tottenham’s interest grew after Manchester City rejected their approach for Brazilian winger Savinho, leaving the club to seek other creative options.
Lookman fits Tottenham’s attacking style. His pace, ball control, and sharp finishing make him an ideal player for manager Thomas Frank’s system.
Spurs are also competing in the UEFA Champions League this season, and the squad needs more quality to handle the busy schedule.
Atalanta’s Price Tag and Next Steps
Atalanta value Lookman at about 50 million euros.
Tottenham can meet the fee without difficulty, but negotiations must move quickly as the transfer window will shut in just a few days.
The failed move to Inter Milan has left the Nigerian forward available, and Spurs are ready to take advantage.
Tottenham believe Lookman can provide extra firepower alongside their current attacking stars. If talks progress smoothly, the deal could be completed before Monday’s deadline.
