Manchester City defender Kyle Walker revealed his sentiments about the Premier League title race, expressing his reluctance to see Arsenal clinch the trophy due to his past affiliation with Tottenham Hotspur.

Kyle Walker prefers Liverpool to win the league over Arsenal

Having spent eight years at Spurs, Walker admitted he would prefer Liverpool to win the title over Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal if City were unable to secure it themselves.

Speaking on the FIVE podcast, Walker stated, “It’s so hard. I don’t want Arsenal [to win] because of Tottenham.”

When questioned by Rio Ferdinand about his ongoing attachment to Spurs, Walker affirmed, “Yeah, I just don’t want Arsenal.”, as reported by daily post.

Currently, Liverpool leads the table with 63 points, followed closely by City with one point less and Arsenal trailing by two points.
