“Soccer Aid: Emotional Return to Stamford Bridge as Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard and Mauricio Pochettino Lead England and World XI”
This summer’s Soccer Aid event promises an emotional reunion at Stamford Bridge as former Chelsea icon Eden Hazard returns to the pitch where he created countless memories.
Hazard, who graced Chelsea’s midfield from 2012 to 2019, expressed his excitement, saying, “Playing at Stamford Bridge was always amazing.
We won so many trophies together there. Some of the very best memories I have in football – seven brilliant years. I miss them.”

Now representing the World XI, Hazard looks forward to rekindling his connection with Chelsea fans and participating in a charitable cause. “As I enter a new chapter,” he said, “we can write new history with Soccer Aid for UNICEF.
Together, we can and will raise millions of pounds for children across the world.”
Managing Hazard and his teammates will be Mauricio Pochettino, who led the World XI to victory in last year’s Soccer Aid.
Despite facing challenges as Chelsea’s current manager as reported by SportsBuddy, Pochettino is eager to guide his squad from the away dugout, aiming for another triumphant outing in the charity match.
Chelsea legend Lampard returns to Stamford Bridge
On the other side, Frank Lampard, a revered figure in Chelsea’s history, will join forces with Harry Redknapp to oversee the England team.

Lampard, Chelsea’s all-time leading goalscorer, expressed his excitement about returning to Stamford Bridge, saying, “Playing in front of a sold-out crowd at Stamford Bridge is special – for any player, on any occasion.”
Managing the Soccer Aid England team, Lampard emphasized the importance of the event’s charitable mission, urging supporters to contribute by attending the match on Sunday, June 9th.

Among the debutants in this year’s Soccer Aid are Bobby Brazier, Sam Thompson, Erin Doherty, Stuart Broad, and Gladiator’s Diamond.
With their participation, along with that of seasoned veterans like Hazard and Lampard, Soccer Aid aims to surpass last year’s record-breaking fundraising total of £14.6 million, supporting UNICEF’s vital work for children worldwide.
