The Gunners manager Jonas Eidevall was the first to recognize the seriousness of the situation, followed by Katie McCabe urgently calling for medical assistance onto the pitch.
Maanum remained unresponsive as paramedics and the medical team attended to her, leading to a nine-minute delay in the match. Eventually, she was carefully stretchered off the field with an oxygen mask, receiving a heartfelt standing ovation from the spectators in the stadium.

The delay occurred just before the game was set to enter extra time, with the score deadlocked at 0-0 after 90 minutes of play. Play resumed with Alessio Russo substituting in for Maanum, and the final whistle blew shortly after, signaling the start of extra time.
