In the first leg of their CONCACAF Champions Cup quarter-final tie against Mexican opposition, Lionel Messi was absent from play. Nevertheless, following Monterrey’s 2-1 victory at Chase Stadium, Messi, alongside Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Tata Martino, was involved in a confrontation with opposition players and coaches.
Messi and the other individuals reportedly confronted the match officials regarding several crucial decisions. They also directed words towards Monterrey boss Fernando Ortiz.

All those videos, they probably erased them all because it leaves them looking bad. What they did was really serious. They want to dirty the pitch,” he said, as per Goal.
