ISIS has issued a threat targeting all four Champions League quarter-final matches scheduled for this week, including Arsenal’s home game against Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal is set to face the German champions in the first leg of the quarter-final match tonight in north London. However, concerns have arisen regarding safety following the circulation of a chilling poster by the Al Azaim Foundation, a mouthpiece for ISIS, displaying the message ‘Kill them all’ alongside the names of all four stadiums hosting the matches, according to a post on X.

Spanish authorities heighten security against ISIS attack
As a result, heightened security measures have been implemented in the Spanish capital, where two of the games will be held. Real Madrid is scheduled to play against Manchester City tonight, while Atletico Madrid will host Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.

This threat comes less than three weeks after the Islamic State orchestrated an attack on Moscow’s Crocus City Concert Hall on March 22. During the attack, armed assailants stormed the venue and opened fire on the crowd, resulting in the tragic death of 143 people and leaving approximately 200 others injured.
In response to a recent threat from an ISIS-linked outlet, Spanish authorities have increased security measures around the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Madrid. This comes ahead of the highly anticipated Champions League match between Real Madrid and Manchester City.
