Arsenal has been handed a boost in their bid to advance to the Champions League semi-finals, as one Bayern Munich forward has been sidelined for the return leg.
Controversy surrounds Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich clash
The Gunners travel to the Allianz Arena in Bavaria following a 2-2 draw at home, featuring goals from Serge Gnabry and Harry Kane for the visitors, countered by strikes from Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard.
Yet, the aftermath of the match was marked by controversy, notably surrounding two penalty incidents that sparked much debate.

Both teams argued for penalty calls, as Bukayo Saka clashed with Manuel Neuer in the closing stages, and Gabriel Magalhaes was observed handling the ball following a goal kick in a peculiar incident during the 66th minute.
Yet, neither appeal was granted, leaving the tie finely poised. However, Bayern Munich will have to navigate the return leg without one of their key figures.
Sports Buddy recently reported that Bukayo Saka and his Arsenal colleagues were furious after their appeal for a penalty was dismissed at the conclusion of their Champions League draw with Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
Bayern confirms Serge Gnabry’s Injury ahead of quarter-final second-leg clash
The German club has announced that former Arsenal forward Serge Gnabry will be sidelined due to a hamstring strain sustained in the initial encounter.
”FC Bayern must do without Serge Gnabry for the time being,’ the club’s statement read.
”The winger suffered a muscle strain in his left hamstring in the 2-2 draw at Arsenal in the Champions league quarter-final first leg, as confirmed by a scan by the FC Bayern medical department,”as reported by Daily Mail.
Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry is expected to be sidelined for around three weeks due to a hamstring injury, as reported by Bild. Gnabry, who posed a significant threat alongside Leroy Sane, was substituted in the 70th minute of the match against Arsenal after receiving treatment for the injury.
