Kaka tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart, Caroline Celico while playing for AC Milan in 2005. Together, they welcomed a son and a daughter before parting ways a decade later.
Recently, reports surfaced that Celico had disclosed the reason for their divorce, stating that “he was too perfect for me.”

Kaka opens up about divorce and religious beliefs
The former Brazilian star recently opened up about his divorce in a podcast reported by Spanish outlet Sport. He disclosed that he made every effort to prevent the split, emphasizing his deep-rooted religious beliefs by stating, “A Christian does not marry to get a divorce.”
The former Real Madrid and Orlando City star revealed, ”In 2015 I was married, and my wife at the time decided she didn’t want to be married anymore.”
”She said, “I’m not happy and I attribute my unhappiness to marriage.
”I was living in the United States, and she asked to go back to Brazil.
”Her words were, “I want to go back to Brazil, I want to live there and I don’t want to be married anymore”.
He also suggested a book for others facing marital challenges.
”I did everything I could to prevent the divorce from happening, because that’s where the Christian’s conflict arises,” he added, as reported by Daily Mail.
