Archie Moore’s record is astounding, and his punching power kept him going till he was the oldest world champion by far. Moore has spent his boxing career for several decades and he has rich experience in boxing defeating some of the great legends off all the time like Rocky Marciano and even Muhammad Ali.
Born on January 21, 1953, Moore is known as “The Old Mongoose” and he participated in 74 professional bouts where he scored most of them through knockout; 145 KOs to be precise.
Despite the fact that Moore scored ranked victories, he failed to win the heavyweight championship on several occasions.
