Following Wednesday night’s 2-0 loss by Georgia, a crazy fan jumped at Cristiano Ronaldo from the stands, almost missing by the narrowest of margins.
In a video captured by another fan, Ronaldo was seen walking off the field into the tunnel when the fan jumped from the stands. However, the 39-year-old attacker seemed unfazed by this.
It appears the fan was more interested in getting close to the Portuguese legend than causing harm, even though he leaped with both feet.
Cristiano Ronaldo escapes injury by a whisker
A security personnel wearing an orange bib who was one of the stewards scorting Ronaldo down the tunnel was quick to react as he moved immediately in front of the player as soon as he perceived what appeared to be a threat.
Ronaldo then gestures “what was that?” with his hands out in front of him.
