Chelsea have been cautioned that a player they intend to sell in the summer could emerge one of the best strikers in Europe Sportsbuddy.ng reports.
While Boehly has strengthened the team with the signings of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Omari Kellyman, he is also eyeing a few exits.
Current Sales And Potential Departures
Chelsea have already sold Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall, Omari Hutchinson, and Hakim Ziyech. Chelsea are willing to sell Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga Conor Gallagher, and Trevoh Chalobah.
Furthermore, the Blues are eager to sell Armando Broja, but the President of the Albanian Football Association deems this as wrongful.
Broja’s Potential and Recent Struggles
Broja was anticipated to be a key figure at Stamford Bridge following a promising loan stint at Southampton in 2021-22.
However, the 22-year-old has had issues with injury and form and has only scored three goals in the last two seasons. Chelsea are seeking to generate about £35m for Broja who was part of Euro 2024 before Albania was eliminated at the group stage.
Still, Armand Duka, the Albanian football chief says that Broja can play in the European league. “Armando is definitely one of the greatest talents in the entire history of Albanian football,” he told Sportitalia.
If Broja came to Milane it would make me twice as happy because I am a Milan fan and this is undoubtedly the best and the strongest move that Milan could make in the summer market.
As for Broja’s future, it is still rather unpredictable, although his talent is apparent to many, that being the reason behind the discussions regarding Chelsea’s decision to part with him.
