The Super Eagles of Nigeria have experienced a slight drop in spot in the latest World FIFA rankings.
The Super Eagles, who are currently without a manager, fell to 39th in the newly-released rankings, one place below their previous position.
This is as a result of recent poor outings which has seen the three-times AFCON champions fail to record a win in their last three games, which includes a 2-1 loss and a 1-1 draw to Benin Republic and South Africa respectively, in the World Cup qualifiers.
Despite the drop in position, Nigeria have remained among the highest-ranked teams in Africa.
