Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has said ‘yes’ to Paris Saint-Germain.
Fabrizio’s update
Fabrizio revealed in a recent tweet on his X account that the Parisian club are planning to advance for both Osimhen and Benfica’s Joao Neves next week.
”Paris Saint-Germain are planning to advance for both João Neves and Victor Osimhen from next week.
”Benfica understand João’s desire to join PSG, talks are advancing between the clubs to get it done.
”Osimhen said yes to PSG, deal with Napoli not close yet but talks on,” he wrote.
Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga
This news comes after Sports Buddy‘s recent report which claimed Osimhen is eager to cease training with Napoli in order to facilitate a move to PSG.
Recent reports also revealed that the 25-year-old attacker was notably missing as Napoli continued their preseason preparations, fueling speculations of his departure.
Osimhen has now missed back-to-back preseason games for the Italian club under new manager Antonio Conte.
The former Lille attacker considers PSG his last chance of leaving Napples before the end of the summer, following unmaterialized move to Chelsea and Arsenal, despite speculated interests from the clubs.
With Fabrizio’s latest update on Osimhen’s transfer situation, a move to the French capital is likely to take place.
