TYC Sports has tagged Aaron Anselmino as “the great jewel of Boca”, with high expectations on the youngster.
The 24-year-old right-footed center-back, who can operate in both central roles, joined Boca’s youth system at age 12 and agreed to extend his contract in January.
Knowing the attention that has been paid to Anselmino, Boca Juniors has inserted a £25 release clause for the player and hopes to get about £16m if the clause is not activated.

For the deal with Boca Juniors, The Blues will be expected to pay over $20m. Anselmino is expected to fly to England on Monday but will stay on loan at Boca Juniors until at least the middle of this year.
