New Chelsea signing Estevao Willian was substituted in tears during Palmeiras’ match against Vitoria on Saturday night after an injury.
In the beginning of this summer transfer window, Chelsea opened their purse to sign a 17-year-old Brazilian from Palmeiras but the cost was €34 million which was equivalent to £28. 7m and €23 million which was equal to £19. 4m for the additional bonuses.
Estevao will move to Chelsea in the next year when he is 18 years old and is expected to challenge for a position in the first team.
The Injury Incident
He had to lie down for more than one minute before Palmeiras’ medical team treated him, and he was substituted, and left the pitch on a cart.

According to a recent report from Sportsbuddy, Chelsea were completely destroyed by Celtic in their second preseason fixture of the campaign.
Palmeiras head coach Abel Ferreira stated that Estevao has an injury and he said, “It’s worrying. It’s a shame that this happened.
Football is like that, he had already been out and we could force him in the last game with the intention of him getting into rhythm for the next game.
I don’t know how serious it is, but it’s sad. Estevao is now an early doubt for the first leg of Palmeiras’ Copa do Brasil last-16 tie against Flamengo next Thursday, which would prove to be troublesome for both Palmeiras and Chelsea.
