Former Super Eagles defender Sam Elijah has rated Club Brugge’s Raphael Onyedika as the most talented midfielder in the current Super Eagles team.
Elijah commended Onyedika for his talent as well as dedication during the matches.
High-Caliber Midfielders in the Super Eagles
The Super Eagles have quite a number of talented Midfielders with the likes of Wilfred Ndidi, Fisayo Dele Bashiru and Alex Iwobi.
However, Elijah noted that he was most impressed by Onyedika among all the shining stars.
“When he is playing the football, he is ready to do anything. ”
“Last season, he is doing his utmost best in defending for the team, where one can see him making tackles and challenges and also in the aspect of the team controlling the possession of the ball too. ”

Elijah was particularly impressed by Onyedika’s hard work, possessing abilities to maintain the ball and control the game.
“He is a box-to-box defensive midfielder; for me, he is the best,” Elijah added.
The Super Eagles lost their last game to Benin Republic in June, a game that saw Raphael Onyedika score the opening goal for Nigeria in the 27th minute as reported by Sportsbuddy.
