Manchester United have been hit with multiple injury blows, with two stars set to be sidelined for months after both players limped off the pitch during Saturday’s friendly game against Arsenal.
The Red Devils, who suffered over 40 injury cases in the Premier League last season, appear to still be haunted by their past troubles, with the latest update revealing that Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund and new signing Leny Yoro will not be available for next week’s Community Shield clash against Manchester City.
Manchester United injury problems
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United could be without Yoro for up to 3 months due to a fractured metatarsal, which forced him out before halftime of the game against Arsenal.
Hojlund, who was limped out in the first half a few minutes after scoring in the same game, faces six weeks on the sidelines.
United faced additional injury concerns during their 3-2 victory over Real Betis on Thursday morning. Marcus Rashford was forced off after a heavy challenge appeared to injure his right ankle. Antony was later withdrawn due to a hand problem.
